Cool Tools for Digital Images
Would you like to see your own face on Mt. Rushmore? Sign up for this class and learn how to take great digital pictures then edit them to tell your story. You will learn basic photography skills using a digital camera. You’ll also spend time on the computer editing and enhancing your photos to create fun and lasting projects.
Cameras will be furnished for your use during the class.

Making Movies: Science Myth-Busters
This class will combine the fun of making movies with the opportunity to become a science "mythbuster!" Using digital video cameras, you will create a movie while investigating a science myth. Your movie will include video, photos, images, music, and more as you combine your movie making talents with a little science investigation. Learn the steps involved and produce your own "Science Mythbuster" episode. Limited previous technology knowledge required. Cameras and materials will be furnished.

Do you enjoy comics, animation, or writing stories? Ever thought about being an author? Explore digital story telling with a twist - animation, digital images, and avatars can all make your story more appealing. Come and learn how to use digital pictures to make stories with music, sound and movement. You can use your own digital pictures, create musical soundtracks and animation, and record your own voice to create your own one-of-a-kind digital stories.

Become a technology wizard by exploring some of the 21 coolest things for students to use on the internet. Learn how to do powerful presentations with Prezi, use interactive tools like Quizlet, Thinkfinity and Google Earth, and create screen-casts using onine video and studio tools. Come and be the one your friends ask for technology help or how to impress your teachers with what you can do on the computer.
